As someone who has never been particularly good at conversations, field recording allows me to immerse myself in the non-human world. Through sound, I find a way to connect with the world around me, rather than retreating into isolation.

To me, recording is more than simply documenting sound—it is a way of preserving moments in time. Listening to a recording can transport us back to a particular place or moment in our lives.

The name Zikade comes from the German word for "cicada." For me, the sound of cicadas on a summer day has always had the power to evoke vivid memories, making it the perfect name for this website.

The recordings in the Sound Archive are organized by the date they were recorded, not by the order in which they are published. As a result, the most recently shared recording may actually have been made much earlier.

網站名稱”Zikade”源自德語，意思是「蟬」。對我而言，夏日的蟬鳴總能喚起許多記憶，因此選擇了這個名字。

Sound Archive的錄音是依照錄音日期排序，但不一定會依照錄音時間的先後順序上傳。因此，最新分享的錄音，未必是最近錄製的作品。
