Whenever I visit the Taipei Botanical Garden, I find myself wanting to capture the same sounds that remain in my memories. The garden in early summer 2022 came relatively close to what I remembered, apart from the Taiwan barbets, which I don't recall hearing there before, and a persistent low-frequency noise in the background.
To avoid attracting unnecessary attention, I attached the microphones to the left and right sides of my recording bag using magnetic mounts. This allowed me to start recording immediately whenever I found a suitable location, without having to set up any additional equipment.
The recording above was made near a pond. You can hear frogs, birds, cicadas, and the sound of fish breaking the surface of the water.

台北植物園, 2022年6月
每次來到台北植物園，我總會想錄下那些與記憶中相同的聲音。2022 年初夏的植物園，算是比較接近我記憶中的樣子，除了當時沒有印象聽過的五色鳥，以及持續存在於背景中的低頻噪音。
為了不引起不必要的注意，我將麥克風分別用磁吸支架固定在錄音包的左右兩側。這樣一來，只要發現適合的錄音地點，就可以直接開始錄音，不需要另外架設設備。
上面這段錄音是在水池附近錄製的，可以聽見蛙鳴、鳥叫、蟬鳴，以及魚躍出水面時發出的聲音。
